Guangdong Ocean University and Zhanjiang Normal College are both comprehensive universities of a long history; and Cunjin College of Guangdong Ocean University, the only independent college in West Guangdong, has developed rapidly in recent years. Their rich experience was generously shared with the guests from SCBC, especially in terms of teaching supervision, teaching management and preparations for teaching evaluation. Some of their experience was particularly valuable for SCBC. For example, the quality of teaching should be put at the core of teaching supervision. In other words, teaching process should be monitored based on the standards of teaching quality. A teaching supervisor’s job is to promote the quality of teaching by monitoring teaching process, and to help young teachers improve their teachings by providing suggestions and instructions Moreover, teaching supervision should be combined with the research.of teachers teachings.

With such benefits from the exchanges, all the parties agreed that the communication between colleges and universities should be increased and enhanced in the future for greater improvements of teaching quality.
